Global Health Impact (GHI)
Entirely new chapter. Did not exist in 7th Edition. Addresses environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and community health equity. Developed jointly with International Hospital Federation Geneva Sustainability Centre.
Health Care Technology (HCT)
Spun out of MOI chapter. Covers: health IT infrastructure, telehealth services (HCT.01.02 - new), medical devices management, cybersecurity, health information exchange. Includes new standards on AI-assisted clinical tools.
